Whose Yoke Are You Carrying?

By Lynne Keating Recently, I retired. It was difficult. Yes, of course, money was, and remains, an issue. But it is more than that. Suddenly I was not dragging around someone else’s agenda or target dates or expectations. The change was so drastic that I felt as if I was stumbling forward, like one who has lost his footing after being suddenly cut... [Read more...]

Our Hidden Acts of Faith

By Sarah Damm One day, during the first trimester of pregnancy with my twins, I was talking to my neighbor. I was feeling quite sick, and even the thought of cooking dinner made me nauseous. I wondered how I was going to feed my family of five, while feeling so horrible. My neighbor immediately offered to cook for my family. Without any hesitancy,... [Read more...]

Don’t Ask More of Yourself Than God Does

God will give you the grace to do what He is asking of you.

There is an unspoken, unwritten expectation that I put on myself that is so high, that I very rarely meet it. If ever. This expectation begins with the... [Read more...]

    The Roots of WINE

    * While WINE is a national ministry, it is beginning by taking root and growing in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Working in partnership with the Archdiocesan Office of Evangelization and Catechesis, WINE will roll out in Archdiocesan parishes in the fall of 2015. We invite you to follow along, to join in with our online book club, to explore our website and to attend any WINE events. We also invite you to join us in prayer for this beautiful women’s ministry as we grow. It is our hope that women on fire for their faith will see the beautiful fruit of WINE and soon it will spread to all corners of the world.
