But the Lord is with me, like a mighty champion. Jeremiah 20:11
Last summer, after a rainstorm, I noticed a rainbow arching over my home. Looking upward, I stood with my hand over my mouth, awed by the sparkling prism of color. It was one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. For at least ten minutes, I took in the perfect display of shape, curve, and color. On an ordinary day, God’s glory was covering our neighborhood.
As Holy week approaches, keep your eyes open for signs of God’s presence. Look up. Look around. Trust that the Lord is with you.
Let yourself be awed.
