Advent Reflection – Day 4
Trust in the Lord forever! For the Lord is an eternal rock. ~Isaiah 26:4
There’s a statue of the Blessed Mother in my mom’s garden. It’s crafted from white stone and has weathered decades of storms and scorching heat. The lawn decoration is “rock solid,” just as Mary’s faith was. Though one day Mary would stand in a windstorm of grief, before the cross of Jesus, her trust was unwavering.
Perhaps you are standing before your own cross. Don’t budge. Stand firmly as Mary did. The The Lord, your rock, is with you.
