Spring Forward With WINE

By Sarah Damm

Spring is in the air … And as we look forward to warmer weather, we look forward to some wonderful events for women! It might be “March Madness,” according to the TV and newspapers, where folks are rooting for the “final four.” Here at WINE, we are looking ahead to the “fabulous four”—four special happenings for women this spring!

1) Siena Symposium
The University of St. Thomas’ Siena Symposium for Women, Family, and Culture presents an upcoming lecture by Professor Teresa Collett.

Life on the Edge: Upcoming Prolife Legal Challenges

Thursday, March 31 • 7:30 p.m. • St. Paul, MN

This event is not sponsored by WINE, but we happily support the wonderful work the Siena Symposium does. The event is free, but there is also a dinner option for $50, which includes a discussion about the state of the profile community and a brief Q&A with Professor Collett.

For more information and to register for the dinner option, click HERE.

4) Summer Book Club
This summer, WINE will host our second-annual online book club.

Blessed Are You: Finding Inspiration From Our Sisters in Faith

From June 18-Aug. 20, we will read one chapter per week of Blessed Are You: Finding Inspiration From Our Sisters in Faith by Melanie Rigney. We will meet online to discuss the chapter right on our blog. Feel free to gather a few friends for more intimate conversation, too.

More information coming soon, but feel free to begin inviting friends now to join us in reading and growing in faith together.

We hope you will mark your calendars and join us for the “fabulous four” happenings for women! More information can always be found on the WINE website or our Facebook page.

Oh! And as a bonus: Remember to set your clocks ahead tonight (March 12)! Just another way to spring forward with WINE!
